New York Yankees’ Prospects Struggle In AFL All-Star Game

Throughout the first several weeks of the Arizona Fall League, members of the New York Yankees‘ farm system went on an absolute tear.

In 12 games, top infield prospect Gleyber Torres slashed .300/.451/.575 with a team-leading OPS of 1.026 and three home runs. The shortstop/second baseman also totaled 23 bases in just 40 at-bats.

His teammate and rising prospect Miguel Andujar was right there with him as a .326/.429/.413 slash line earned him a selection with Torres as Yankees’ representatives in this year’s AFL All-Star game.
