New York Yankees Promote J.R. Graham To SWB

The New York Yankees announced on Friday that they have brought right-handed pitcher J.R. Graham back to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after a brief stint in Double-A Trenton.

The 27-year-old began the season with the RailRiders and posted a 1.93 ERA over 4.2 innings of relief work before being sent down to Trenton on April 22.

After not giving up a single earned run and holding opponents to a .125/.176/.156 slash line over 9.2 innings with the Thunder, New York assigned him back to the Electric City on Friday.

Graham appeared in 10 games for the Yankees in spring training and surrendered four runs on eight hits in 10.
