The New York Yankees, after suffering a devasting loss in the eighth innings last night, will again face the Tampa Bay Rays today in a doubleheader caused by the Phillie’s postponement. Last night Yankees reliever Adam Ottavino came in in the eighth inning of a scoreless game. He walked two and threw a wild pitch putting two Rays in scoring position. The Rays Perez hit a sac fly driving in Choi for the one-run lead that Yankees could not recover from.
Today at 2:10 pm the Yankees will look to bounce back from two losses in a row when Yankee ace Gerrit Cole will take the mound in the game one of a day-night doubleheader.
