The New York Yankees are in dire need of pitching help going into the 2021 season. They will look to possibly re-sign Masahiro Tanaka, pick up an additional mid-rotation pitcher. Luis Severino was born on February 20, 1994, in Sabana de la Mar, Dominican Republic. As a boy, he played baseball in the sand fields of the Republic, he played most infield positions, but as he aged, he preferred pitching.
