The New York Yankees have risen to the occasion. After starting the year 3-6, they have won 7 of their last 9 games. In those eight wins they have beaten quality opponents, such as the Detroit Tigers and their cross city rival, the New York Mets. The Mets have the best record in the Major League Baseball and have had an impressive start to their season; however, the Yankees might have something to say about that.
Offense is the key for the Yankees.
