Good news for fans of the New York Yankees after Tuesday night’s scare involving Giancarlo Stanton.
In the win against the Toronto Blue Jays, Stanton left in the third inning with an apparent injury. As reported, Stanton suffered a contusion in his right knee. It was announced he would go for an MRI.
Luckily, the MRI came back clean, and for right now, there’s no serious injury for Stanton. He still will (most likely) travel with the Yankees to London for a two-game stint against the Boston Red Sox, however, isn’t in the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
