New York Yankees OF Giancarlo Stanton suffers new injury

It would appear that no level of baseball is safe for the big names of the New York Yankees.

The team announced on Wednesday that they would remove outfielder Giancarlo Stanton from his rehab assignment with High-A Tampa. Stanton has played just three major league games this season, as he as battle multiple ailments.

The Yankees have returned OF Giancarlo Stanton from his rehab with left calf tightness.

Stanton partook in one game with the Tampa Tarpons. He went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday’s 9-2 win over Atlanta affiliate Florida.
