After losing the first two games of a four-game series in Boston, it’s clear that the New York Yankees will need to add some pitching. According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, New York is offering outfielder Clint Frazier in talks.
Frazier has had an up-and-down 2019 season thus far. After a slew of early-season injuries, the 24-year-old was thrust into the everyday lineup.
In the batter’s box, Frazier has been just as advertised. His lightning-quick hands and sweet right swing led to a slash line of .283/.337/.536 with 11 home runs and 34 runs batted in.
