New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone is flirting with the idea of batting slugger Aaron Judge against left-handed pitching in 2019, via Jack Curry of the YES Network.
Boone reiterated that Hicks is the front runner to be lead off batter. Interestingly, he even suggested Judge could be potential leadoff man against a LHP. “Can even flirt with the big guy up there in certain situations,” he said. Sounds like it would be a rarity to do that
