Dustin Ackley, the second overall pick by the Seattle Mariners in the 2009 amateur draft, is headed to the Yankees in exchange for Yankees outfielder Ramon Flores and pitcher Jose Ramirez. Jack Curry at the YES Network first reported the deal.
It will be Ramon Flores and Jose Ramirez to the Mariners for Dustin Ackley, source says.

Ackley, a 27 year-old second baseman and outfielder, is hitting .215 this season with six home runs and 19 RBIs. Although he is struggling this season, he will certainly be an upgrade over Stephen Drew and Brendan Ryan if the Yankees put Ackley at 2B.
