Earlier this morning the New York Yankees announced that they have recalled outfielder Slade Heathcott and catcher Gary Sanchez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
This news was announced just one day removed from the Indianapolis Indians eliminating the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in the semi-finals of the International League.
For Slade Heathcott, this will mark his second cup of coffee in 2015 with the big league club. Heathcott was called up to the Yankees back in May, where he batted .353 in 18 at-bats with one home run and three RBI before being placed on the DL with a strained quad.
