Good news is on the horizon for the Bronx Bombers after a weekend of ups and downs.
Reported on Friday, the New York Yankees’ primary backstop, Gary Sanchez, is expected to make his return this coming Wednesday.
Gary Sanchez was first placed on the injured list April 12 with a calf strain. He was the 12th player to be put on that list during that time but he looks ready and raring to go.

Sanchez has been participating in all baseball activities, but Aaron Boone and the coaching staff still wanted him to make at least one rehab start prior to his return.
