With the big league club struggling mightily as of late, this weeks Minor League Player of the Week Series was a more encouraging writeup than most of the news we covered this week!
This week there was a ton of the moment, including the promotion of both Slade Heathcott and the ‘Strikeout Factory’ Jacob Lindgren to the New York Yankees as well as Mason Williams being moved up to Triple A and Danny Oh promoted to AA.
Masahiro Tanaka also made his first rehab start for the RailRiders since being placed on the disabled list last month, and boy was it impressive.
