New York Yankees number one overall prospect Luis Severino continues to inch closer and closer to the major leagues. His latest feat; career win number one at the Triple-A level.
Severino struck out four hitters and allowed just four hits over 5.1 innings en route to a 7-2 Scranton win over the Buffalo Bison on Wednesday.
In dominant fashion, the 21-year old retired the first 11 hitters he faced before chalking up a base hit to Matt Hague that actually hit off Severino’s lower body with two outs in the fourth inning.
