WFAN’s Mike Francesa always seems to get a ton of shade for being ignorant, dismissive, boring and downright wrong about certain topics. On Tuesday, however, the 63-year old was spot on in regards to New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi.
Frank in Waterbury called Mike and started off by saying he’s happy with the way the Yankees are playing right now, but that he “can’t stand Girardi.”
Apparently, Frank was not happy with how the only manager in baseball with winning seasons in each of the past nine years sat Greg Bird the night after he went 3-for-3 with his first home run in two years.
