New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone calls lineup a ‘loaded barrel’ heading into Game 2

Friday night began the New York Yankees‘ journey to World Series title No. 28. In Game 1 of their American League Division Series matchup with the Twins, the Bombers ousted Minnesota 10-4.

Large contributors for New York were first baseman DJ LeMahieu (3-for-5, one home run, four RBIs), and second baseman Gleyber Torres (1-for-3, two RBIs). What’s important for the Yankees moving forward, however, is that they have healthy big bats in their lineup. Manager Aaron Boone touched base on that with reporters after the team took a 1-0 series lead.
