New York Yankees Make Switch At Catcher For ALCS Game 4

Related Topics: New York Yankees, Austin Romine

There is a new look to the New York Yankees‘ lineup for Game 4 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros, as a new pitch-caller finds himself behind the dish.

Gary Sanchez, who has started every postseason game at catcher, will play as the team’s DH on Tuesday night while Austin Romine takes over the catching duties for starter Sonny Gray.

This also means that New York’s rotation of DH’s consisting of Jacoby Ellsbury, Chase Headley, and Matt Holliday will remain on the bench.
