Luis Severino is on his way to be being back in pinstripes for the New York Yankees as his rehab starts have gone exceptionally well. There’s a large chance that his next start is in the majors with the Yankees.
The 25-year-old completed his second rehab start with the double-A affiliate Trenton Thunder. In three innings of work, Severino fanned five while allowing a homer.
“Overall, it was pretty successful,” said manager Aaron Boone. “We’ll talk about whether one more (minor league start) is beneficial or (he’ll come with us.
