If you heard superstar free agent Manny Machado wanted a 13-year, $325 million deal, what would you say? Or better yet, what would the New York Yankees say?
Some think it’s a pipe=dream:
“Good luck,” stated a reporter from a Dominican Republic radio station. While this source might not be the Yankees, he believes that Machado is asking for a bigger offer than the one Stanton is currently hauling in every season — 13-years, $325 million, averaging $25 million per-season.
So, we can come to the conclusion that a few explcit words might follow the potential “good luck” from the Yankees’ front-office.
