The New York Yankees optioned left-handed pitcher Nestor Cortes Jr. to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The team announced the move after their 17-13 win over the Boston Red Sox in London. Bryan Hoch of MLB.com later reported that fellow pitcher Chance Adams will take his spot.
