New York Yankees: Giancarlo Stanton goes down with a calf strain

Error 0:

Well, this preseason has not started out too motivating for the New York Yankees, who already have two starting pitchers recovering from major surgery.

Luis Severino, who will undergo Tommy John surgery on Thursday, will miss the entire 2020 season, and James Paxton will be out until at least May after having a cyst removed from his lower back.

Toss in the Aaron Judge sore shoulder injury, and you can say the baseball gods are punishing the Yankees for some untold truth. However, it doesn’t end there, as Giancarlo Stanton has been diagnosed with a grade 1 calf strain.
