One of baseball’s hottest pitchers were no match for the Baby Bombers, as the New York Yankees walked away with their second-straight win against the Mets.
New York Yankees were able to accomplish the tall-task in taking down Mets’ ace Jacob deGrom as they walked away with a 5-4 victory in Game 2 of the 2017 Subway Series.
The Bombers scored four runs off deGrom, the most he’s allowed since June 6 against the Texas Rangers (five earned runs). Jacoby Ellsbury‘s two-run home run in the fourth and Gary Sanchez‘s 2-for-3 day — which included a solo jack into the bleachers in left and two RBIs — led the way for Gray to earn his first Yankee win.
