New York Yankees drop slugfest to Tigers on walk-off single (Highlights)

Well, the New York Yankees were definitely overdue for an offensive shootout like Tuesday night.

Unfortunately, the Tigers walked it off in the ninth inning to win the game 12-11.

It was a bullpen day for the Yankees after a really solid trip through the rotation. Nestor Cortes Jr. started, tossing 2.1 innings and allowing four runs, only two of which were earned. He only struck out two batters in that stretch while allowing six hits before turning it over to Luis Cessa.

Cessa struggled as well. He threw 2.2 innings and allowed three runs.
