As horrible of a feeling it is for the New York Yankees to get swept out of Fenway, the season is not over. The Yankees are now 9.5 games out of first place in the AL East after the horrendous and heart-wrenching series in Boston. But the bright side is, it’s only August and not October. The Yankees and Red Sox could very well be headed on a crash course to once again meet in the postseason. This past 4 game series in August will mean nothing at that point, and it will be anyone’s series to win.
