First off, the Yankees have optioned right-hander Bryan Mitchell to Triple-A following Sunday’s loss in anticipation of Masahiro Tanaka returning from the disabled list on Tuesday.
The club should be excited to regain Tanaka into the rotation, considering he was beginning to get back in a groove before the injury.
