There’s nothing like showing the other league who’s boss, and the New York Yankees are sure representing the American League well.
With their 4-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night, the Bombers improved to 10-5 during interleague play in 2017. That officially clinches their 20th non-losing season series in 21 years of Interleague play (since 1997).
Including a two-game series split with the Reds earlier in the season, the Yankees are 2-1 against them and 10-8 all time (5-2 at the current Yankee Stadium). Overall, though, no one does it better than the Yankees when it comes to taking on teams from the National League.
