Welcome back and it’s time to celebrate another New York Yankees victory. That’s right, the second consecutive sweep for the Yankees has officially occurred.
The Yankees are red-hot. There’s absolutely no denying that. But they have things greater than baseball to think about.
During Sunday night’s competition against the St. Louis Cardinals, the Yankees took some time to honor the victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy that occurred 10 years ago.
The moment of silence occurred before the game at Yankee Stadium and also at the Washington Nationals’ park Sunday evening.
