The Yankees have fallen victim to an awful rash of rainouts, and are now left to deal with playing games in different cities and countries every day. Sunday night, they were stuck on the tarmac in Baltimore, yesterday they split a double header in Detroit, and today they’ve flown across the border to Toronto for a two-game series with the Blue Jays.
CC Sabathia will get the ball as the Yankees try to close the one-game gap between them and the Red Sox in the AL East standings. Sabathia has regressed after a sterling start to the year, and his last time out he gave up five runs, three earned, in five innings against the Astros.
