There was some good things to come out of last night game for the Yankees. The offense put up some runs against Justin Verlander. Masahiro Tanaka had a good outing. Unfortunately, the Yankees still lost because baseball is weird sometimes. The bullpen, which is one of the main strength of the Yankees’ team, coughed up a lead, dooming the team to a loss.
Now we move to game two of the series tonight. Based on the pitching match up alone, this is a game that, on paper, is not in the Yankees’ favor. However, if things went haywire last night, there’s no reason they can’t today.
