The New York Yankees are battered, bruised, broken, and somehow, still winning games. Although the Yankees’ recent hot streak is a great sign, the team is struggling to keep able bodies on the field. However, help is on the way.
According to Jack Curry of YES Network, the Yankees have acquired veteran outfielder Cameron Maybin from the Cleveland Indians. The Yankees will send the Indians cash considerations and move Luis Severino to the 60-day IL to free up a spot for Maybin on the 40-man roster.
As of Wednesday night, the Bronx Bombers only outfielders on the 25-man roster were Brett Gardner and Mike Tauchman.
