Help is on the way! Although they don’t look like they need help right now, the surging New York Yankees could have third baseman Miguel Andujar back sooner rather than later.
“[Trainer] Stevie Donohue came and said, ‘Andujar, three hits, no issues,’ ” Boone said on Sunday via George A. King III of the New York Post.
Boone was referencing an extended spring training game Andujar played in. He went on to give a timeline for his return to the field. According to Boone, Andujar will play for the Tampa Tarpons starting on Tuesday barring any unforeseen setbacks.
