The New York Yankees resident jack of all trades, DJ LeMahieu, brings home his first career Silver Slugger award due to his impressive 2019 campaign.
His first in pinstripes, the award was rightfully earn by the second baseman, who beat out Jose Altuve for the honor to add to his trophy case.
The victory was announced on the Yankees’ official Twitter page on Thursday evening, when MLB made the official confirmation.
