There’s some beef between the Bronx and Queens right now.
This week, a profile on New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman was published by Wallace Matthews of Yahoo Sports. Within the piece, Cashman spoke about the trade that could’ve been for All-Star right-hander Marcus Stroman.
The former Blue Jays pitcher was dealt to the New York Mets instead. Cashman revealed that he didn’t want to trade for him because he felt as if he “didn’t think he would be a difference-maker.”
On Tuesday, it appeared that Stroman fired back at Cashman on Twitter.
