That was weird. Didn’t even feel like a real game. The Yankees and Nationals completed their May 15th suspended game Monday afternoon and Washington won the mad dash to the finish 5-3. I’m not writing two full recaps in one day and the second game starts in like five minutes anyway, so let’s bullet point this recap:
- Previously on Yankees Baseball: The suspended game resumed with the score tied 3-3 in the middle of the sixth inning. How did they get there? Masahiro Tanaka allowed one run in the first (Anthony Rendon solo homer) and two runs in the second (Andrew Stevenson single, Pedro Severino double) for an early 3-0 deficit.
