The Yankees didn't leave the office early for Thanksgiving.
They acquired speedy utility man Tim Locastro from the Dodgers in exchange for righty minor-leaguer Drew Finley and cash on Wednesday afternoon, the team said in a statement.
Los Angeles had recently designated Locastro for assignment to clear 40-man roster space.
It put the Yankees' 40-man roster to its full capacity.
Who's Locastro? Locastro, 26, was a Blue Jays 13th-round pick out of Ithaca College in 2013. He's got little big-league experience -- he appeared in just 18 games this season for the Dodgers and in three in 2017 -- but he's quick.
