The Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo reports Yankees bench coach Josh Bard will be in demand for one of the several open managerial positions in MLB:
Josh Bard, bench coach, Yankees -- Bard is being talked about among the next wave of young bench coaches, heavy into analytics of course, who could be considered for future managing jobs. Being Aaron Boone's top adviser and helping to mold a 100-win team certainly doesn't hurt.
A new job will have to wait for the time being.
