CARLSBAD, Calif. -- It wasn't a no.
The Yankees are keeping the door open to signing Bryce Harper this offseason.
When Brian Cashman was asked if he'd be open to spending as much as $300 million on an outfielder in free agency -- that's how much Harper and only Harper could get -- the Yankees general manager didn't shoot it down.
"I see where you're going with that now," Cashman said at the 2018 MLB General Managers Meetings at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa on Monday.
