Former Yankees manager Joe Girardi has a line on a potential return to the dugout in 2019, after interviewing with the Cincinnati Reds, according to Fancred's Jon Heyman:
The Cincinnati Reds have gotten a quick start on their managerial search, and have interviewed ex-Yakees manager Joe Girardi in addition to interim manager Jim Riggleman and ex-Red Sox manager John Farrell, with ex-Tigers manager Brad Ausmus and Giants farm director David Bell also high on their list.

Riggleman is credited for doing a very nice job as the interim following the team's rough 3-18 start under Bryan Price, and he already has interviewed, as has Girardi, who previously interviewed for the Reds job when theta hired Dusty Baker a decade ago.
