MLB draft results 2015: Yankees draft second baseman Brandon Wagner 183rd overall

After taking shortstop Kyle Holder with the 30th overall pick, the Yankees took their second middle infielder in the sixth round with second baseman Brandon Wagner. He was taken 39th overall out of Hopewell, New Jersey by the Phillies in 2013, but decided to attend Howard junior college instead and is now among some of the younger draft prospect as a 19-year-old. Baseball America ranked him 45th in the state of Texas and 438th overall by Baseball America. It should be noted that 2013 Yankees draft pick David Palladino also attended Howard.

He's a strong athlete who played second base in college, but could end up moving to third base or left field as a professional.
