MLB draft results 2015: Yankees draft left-hander pitcher James Reeves 303rd overall

For their final pick of Day Two of the 2015 MLB Draft, the Yankees went with a promising left-handed pitcher in the 10th round. Taken out of The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, the six-foot-two, 175-pounder James Reeves is a senior pick, though he missed much of his 2014 season with an elbow injury. In 2015, he bounced back in a big way by accumulating a 3.69 ERA in 95 innings as a starter, complete with 115 strikeouts, a 10.89 K/9 (19th in the nation) and a 2.65 BB/9. He was awarded the Southern Conference pitcher of the year and Baseball America names him the ninth-best in the conference and 23rd-best in the state.
