TAMPA, Fla. -- The circus coming to town has caused a minor league baseball game to be postponed.
Friday night's Florida State League Class A game between Clearwater and Tampa at Steinbrenner Field was called due to flashing lights on a tall circus tent near the stadium behind the right-center and center-field wall.
The decision to postpone was made after umpires and officials from both teams reviewed the matter.
