Mike Ford and Yankees bullpen down the Mariners, 5-4

Matt Wisler started this game for the Mariner with a 1-2-3 inning in the first, but once Tommy Milone took to mound in the second, the Yankees got their A-swings on. Gleyber Torres wasted no time starting the the scoring by hitting a home run with an exit velocity of 108.5 mph, traveling 438 feet to center field.

After the home run, Mike Tauchman drew a walk and then advanced to second on a groundball by Gio Urshela. Austin Romine quickly singled up the middle to give the Yankees their second run of the game.
