NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — The Mets and Yankees will be sending three players each to the All-Star Game next week in San Diego on July 12.
Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes will be making his first All-Star Game start, and second appearance overall. He will be joined by teammates Noah Syndergaard and Jeurys Familia, who are making their first All-Star appearances.
The Yankees will be sending outfielder Carlos Beltran and relief pitchers Andrew Miller and Dellin Betances to San Diego. It is the ninth All-Star game appearance for Beltran, third for Betances and first for Miller.
