NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — It certainly was cold for fans watching the showdown at Yankee Stadium on Friday night.
As CBS2’s Tracee Carrasco reported, the Mets and Yankees were set to square off in the first game of the Subway Series.
Tensions between fans of the two teams were even higher as the Mets were fighting for their 12th win in a row.
It’s a night where marriages and friendships are put to the test.
“Oh he’s still gonna be my buddy, but even though he’s a Mets fan we just go like this and cover it up,” Yankee fan Larry Dercole said about a friend.
