NEW YORK -- The Mets might want to blowtorch the whole Yankee Stadium visiting clubhouse.
Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard went on the disabled list Sunday with hand, foot and mouth disease before a game against the Yankees in the Bronx.
The team believes the right-hander contracted it while working at a kids camp during the All-Star break. Mets assistant general manager John Ricco said the team hopes Syndergaard will miss just one start.
