Now, that Yankee is James Paxton, and so reliever Jake Barrett is likely headed into the club’s apparent rideshare of choice, and made his way to The Bronx for the afternoon game against the Minnesota Twins. Paxton (left knee inflammation), the club’s de facto ace in the midst of Luis Severino’s season-long absence, headed to the injured list after exiting his start just three innings in the night before.
