Marcus Stroman threw shade at the Yankees after a report revealed general manager Brian Cashman didn’t think the hurler “would be a difference-maker” in The Bronx.
“We felt he would be in our bullpen in the postseason,” Cashman told Yahoo Sports in a story published Monday night.
That didn’t sit well with Stroman, who tweeted a graphic Tuesday showcasing his stats matched up against those of the Yankees’ starters.
“Straight cash homie,” he wrote.
The Long Island native’s ERA, FIP, WAR and HR/9 numbers were superior, though it’s an apples to oranges comparison with Stroman being compared to every Yankees starter.
