Marcus Stroman believes he’d fit in with the New York Yankees

As the July 31 trade deadline approaches, the New York Yankees will be looking for guys to help the starting rotation.

With soon-to-be free agents Madison Bumgarner and Zack Wheeler going to be available on the trade market, the Yankees could look to move some players to get one of those starting pitchers as a rental. However, another guy on that soon-to-be free agent list is Toronto Blue Jays right-handed pitcher Marcus Stroman.

So far this year, Stroman is only 5-9 with a 3.04 earned run average. However, he could be a great asset to add to a starting rotation that already includes Masahiro Tanaka and CC Sabathia.
