Arroyo spent four seasons with the Yankees, helping them to a World Series win in 1961. That season was perhaps his finest. The left-hander went 15-5 with a 2.19 ERA in 65 games, earning 29 saves.
Arroyo broke into the majors in 1955 with the Cardinals.
