Earlier today, reports surfaced delivering great news for Yankees fans. Longtime broadcaster Ken Singleton is expected to return to the booth in 2019. It was reported prior to the season that he would retire at the end of the year.
According to Randy Miller, Singleton will reprise his role as Yankees color commentator on a reduced workload next season. He will primarily call road games in Baltimore and Tampa Bay. It’s a move that has the Yankees universe happy; he’s a beloved figure across the board.
“I’ll get to do games basically where I want,” Singleton told members of the media.
